Leslie and Margie booked us almost a year before their wedding. They were very hands-on in planning their wedding. We would always see them in all the Bridal Fairs that we joined, constantly searching for the things they still needed, to make their wedding a perfect one.
A week before the big day, Margie was still searching for the right song that she wanted to use for the Onsite MTV. She wanted it to be dramatic coz according to her alot of her guests would not be able to make it to the church ceremony because most chinese still work until Saturday afternoon. So the Onsite MTV must be dramatic. After a lot of song searching she finally came up with one that we both agreed was truly dramatic.
The wedding of Roy & Tina was a grand event. Thanks to the great ideas of Roy’s uncle, Tito Henry Babiera. The setting was the early 1900’s. The Spanish Era. Everyone was dressed according to the times. All the elements were there, from the costumes, karwahe(horse carriage), Gwardia sibil(Civil Guards) and the reception venue styled by Pido. It was like you were sent back in time to be part of the historical event. Watch the onsite video so you will know what i mean.
When we met Tito Henry for our pre prod meeting for the AVP, he made it clear to us that he wanted something different. He wanted it to be funny and corny at the same time. (Baduy for short!). Telenovela of the 60’s type of thing. He wanted people to remember it for how baduy it was. So we called our former bride Honey Virata-Ancheta. She is a writer of filipino love stories. In half a day she came up with a script that was simple and hilarious. Tito Henry and the couple loved it.
So without further a do! Here is Roy & Tina’s Vintage Comedy! Enjoy!

This whole AVP was shot with a Canon 5D MKII camera. It’s an SLR camera with full HD video capability. Notice the depth of field. It’s the blurred background and foreground that you see in the videos. Amazing camera!
Watch the video so you will know more about the couple’s love story.
Raoul and Erin are both Engineers who met when they were working in Intel. They were not very close yet when they were at Intel. When the company closed down they had to go their separate ways. Raoul stayed with the sister company of Intel and Erin transferred to Unilever but that didn’t stop them from partying every once in awhile and eventually they became very close and the rest is history.
Raoul is also a Dj who made his own mix for their onsite song, I’m Yours by Jason Mraz.

This was our first Muslim wedding. Muslim weddings are quite different from Catholic or Christian weddings. In a Catholic or Christian wedding a bride and a groom stands in front of a priest or a pastor saying their vows to one another. In a Muslim wedding, the father of the bride and the groom stand in front of each other. They are the ones who say their vows to each other. The father of the bride, asks the groom if he will take care of his daughter. And the groom, answers promising to take care of the father’s daughter. While this ceremony is taking place the bride is in the hotel waiting for her groom to pick her up. Once the ceremony of the father and groom is done, the groom picks up his bride, touches her forehead, and they make their grand entrance.

Tani and Magee started their love story in Naga City almost 13 years ago. It’s ironic because this is the summer that we have come to love this city since were there 4 times to go to Camsur Watersports Complex which is 5 minutes away from Naga City. Actually, the morning after thier wedding, we left on our usual roadtrip to go to Naga for the last time before school starts.
The planning of their wedding took more than 1 year. Magee is a W@WEE bride. Therefore, she was very thorough in planning her wedding but we also have give credit to Tani for helping Magee plan the wedding.
After we left the church, it started to rain. We thought Oly Ruiz, of Metrophoto, would not be able to do a pictorial at the park. That’s where we were mistaken. Thanks to W@W for giving away umbrellas. Did you notice the W@W logo in the umbrella?
30fps will be joining the Celebrations Bridal Fair in SMX Mall of Asia this coming May 23 and 24. We hope you can visit our booth (A35) to avail of Special Discounts. See you there!!!!
We got our Canon 5D Mark II camera a day before Rj and Arl’s wedding last month. I used it to shoot some footage but we were not able to use it for the onsite at that time. Of course, i had to familiarize myself with this expensive SLR camera with full HD video capability. We went to CWC in Camirines Sur 2 times this summer to watch the 2009 World Wakeboard Championships and during Holy Week. I was able to get some exceptional footage with the 5D. The clarity and depth of field of the footage was amazing. I love this camera! It is really a breakthrough in technology!
Now about the wedding! It was a rainy day in Tagaytay. It was a good escape from the heat in Manila. Kim is an I.T. guy based in Malaysia and Kath is a doctor in Makati Med. The couple were very hands on in planning their wedding. Last December 14, we saw them in Splendido at Honey and Jessie’s wedding. They wanted to see how Splendido would look like during a real reception, so that their reception would be perfect. There were a lot performers that night but the highlight of the night was Kim’s song number for his wife Kath. Kim’s dad also gave a very funny and inspiring speech about married life. So Kim listen to your dad’s advise and everything will be smooth sailing. HAHAHA!
